Value Acceleration Methodology
A proven process that focuses on value growth and aligning business, personal, and financial goals. We progress during the journey through 3 Gates:
Gate 1 - Discover
During this initial phase, we understand where the business and owner is currently, what the potential is, and develop a plan to get there. We focus during this stage on:
- Assessing business attractiveness from a buyer's standpoint
- Evaluating business and owner readiness for transition
- Estimating current and potential value of the business
- Understanding personal and financials goals and needs
- Creating a prioritised action plan for both business and personal paths
Gate 2 - Prepare
We then move into the execution phase of the program, splitting into two concurrent paths – business and personal. During this stage we focus on:
- Disciplined execution of the prioritised action plan
- Rolling 90-day sprints
- Monthly check-ins
- Specialists are brought in as required
- Annual re-valuation of the business to measure progress
Gate 3 - Decide
Every 90-days, we ask the question "Grow, or Exit?"
- If "Grow", we move back into Gate 2 and continue with the next 90-day sprint until ready for advanced value creation.
- If "Exit", we initiate the desired exit option and start the process.
